I stumbled across this design studio called Polkka Jam today. I then realised they're from my Finnish 'Hometown' Turku. I studied Textiles in Turku, Finland for four months whilst at University. It was one of the best experiences ever, I fell in love with Finland and I dream of having a little log cabin on the Archipelago one day, full of rye bread, posca pens and a big sauna-All my favorite things!
Back to Polkka Jam, they have a great variety of Textiles, cards, homewares and prints-well worth checking out. I love the distinct finnish style-the use of white, bold colours and strong imagery.
Il be back with some baking soon, im off to hunt out some rye bread and rollmops.
