The week before Easter I received THE phone call I've been waiting for...there was a letter waiting for me with a big old crest and the queens face on...oh alright it was a stamp!
I worked the rest of the avo wishing the minutes away and then BAM hometime!
The envelope was thick, the paper expensive and it was addressed to me...oh yeahhhh.
Although it wasn't actually penned by the queen, I'm pretty sure she dictated to her lady in waiting! Maybe not. She thanked me for my thoughts on her recent events and enclosed some leaflets about her day...who knew the queen wakes up at 8 every morning to a pipe player outside her window. If I was the queen I'd go for something a but better than a piper, Elton John perhaps?
I've yet to write my reply...she didn't tell me what her favourite biscuit was so I'm going to go at a different angle, one dunk or two?
I'm coming up with a list of people who il write to next, currently I've got Tom Hanks, Betty White and the Dalai lama (bit of a stretch). Who's on your list?
